West Point Christmas Lighting... and we got spotted by the newspaper

The one time I leave my camera home... the newspaper people bring theirs... The kids and I had a great time going to the West Point Christmas lighting on Monday night... just to appear in the paper on Thur. Christmas caroling... Santa arriving on a fire truck... sitting on his lap... Mrs. Claus showing the kids their name in the Naughty & Nice book (thankfully they were in the nice section). What a great time we had... definitely will have to be a tradition.

A & K Christmas Party

Right before Korey and I walked out the door... we enjoyed an evening out.

Trip to Lewiston Idaho... Thanksgiving!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday we traveled up to Lewiston Idaho to spend time with my grandparents... my dad... 2 of my sisters and some other family! The kids overall did well on the trip... lots of driving... Sariah only threw up once which was nice.
                                    

The boys loved loved helping my dad at the frame shop... he was great in letting them help him. As well as letting the make their own frames.. cut the wood, glass, mat etc. They are so proud of their frames. (The above picture is what Elijah plans to put in his frame).

Korey, Sariah and one of my dad's dogs... oh how I love his dogs (and anyone who knows me knows that I really am not an animal person.) But Sariah did not love his dog...  :o)

A cut open lip... the top permanent tooth broke off nearly in half and the bottom permanent tooth broke off at an angle... Oh my oh my kid!

Several of my sisters came over and the boys had a great time with them going down the stairs. At the end Sariah even joined in and loved it. Thanks Hannah - Esther and Sarah for having fun with the kiddos!

Pumpkin Carving...

We enjoyed eating Pizza and carving pumpkins. It was nice to have my sister Esther and her boyfriend Craig join us. What a fun night!

Black Island Farms

Oh what fun the Jarom, Elijah, Sariah and I had at Black Island Farms. It was nice that my brother Josh and his wife joined us. No green pumpkin vines... but still lots of pumpkins to choose from...

Enjoying the tractor/hay ride out to the pumpkins... on the way back there was bit of sliding in the mud...

We also loved feeding the goats... We were most amazed by the goat mountain. It was fun to put the feed in the little cup and move it up to the waiting goat.

Making Halloween crafts...

My cousin and her adorable girls came over and my sister in-law... we all had a great time making some Halloween crafts together! Thanks to the creative mind of my cousin.

Fire Station Open House

While I had cooking group at our house Korey was sweet and took the kids to the Fire Station for the annual Open house. I think they all had a great time!

Recently we enjoyed Mom's and Muffins day... National have lunch with your child at school day... and National walk to school day.

Nature Center

On Fall break we enjoyed going to the Ogden Nature Center with some friends...

We saw some really neat birdhouses... this was just one of the many.

Jarom & Soccer

Jarom is one terrific soccer player and boy does he love to play soccer. He is one go getter on the field.

Elijah & Soccer

So proud of Elijah! He had such a great fall soccer season. Improved greatly over last year! He is one determined boy... never gives up! He makes one of the best goalies too!

West Point Elementry's 140th Celebration

The boy's school was celebrating 140 years since the first West Point school. I am on the PTA so I was helping with being in charge of the breakfast. Both the boys were taking part in the 1 mile Fun Run. There was also train rides... bowling... music and bounce houses. Everyone had a great time.



It got a bit difficult for Elijah half way through... so I took his hand and together we finished the race.
I was so proud of both of my boys... especially for Elijah. It was not easy for him... He is one tough kid!
Thanks grandma Judy (Laura's mom) for coming to support the boys... especially when she has worked all night and not had any sleep.

Josh's Marathon

So proud of my brother! He ran his First Marathon! The top of Utah... in Logan. He was soooo incredible!

Elijah and Baseball

Elijah started baseball right after he got his cast off... so it was a bit difficult. I also had never considered how difficult it would be to get his hand in the glove with his weaker side. But he had a great time and played very well
