Elijah and Baseball

Elijah started baseball right after he got his cast off... so it was a bit difficult. I also had never considered how difficult it would be to get his hand in the glove with his weaker side. But he had a great time and played very well

The "Healing Field"

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go and see the "Healing Field" (if it comes to a city near you I highly recommend you go and see it...) I am so glad I went. It almost felt like the ground was sacred while the flags were there... (5000 flags for those that have lost their lives in the current war) So breath taking... So proud to be an American... and so grateful for all those men and woman who fought for us and sacrificed their lives and for all those that continue to do so.

Roy Parade

Saturday we enjoyed going to the Roy Parade. Aunt Sandy went with us.. and we were even able to see 2 of my cousin July's daughters in the parade.

Elijah loved getting wet!
Sandy wanted the beads....
2 of July's daughters on a float...
